Coronavirus Guidelines

August ’20 UPDATE

At Monument Vets, we are still here and working to keep your pets healthy and safe. Animal welfare is our top priority and we want you to know we are here for you and your companions during this uncertain time.

We ask that you contact the surgery by phone for booking an appointment, but that prescription orders are done via our website.

As of 08/08/2020 it is mandatory as stated by the UK Government for all members of the public to wear a face-mask in veterinary settings, unless unable to.

Clients are now able to enter the practice with their pets, but remain in reception whilst the veterinary team conduct the consultation. There are three partitioned areas in reception to provide continued protection within our practices. We also have plastic screens around reception desks now to further adhere to guidelines.

To keep yourselves and us as safe as possible, we request that all prescription orders are done via our website where possible to reduce the number of calls coming in. Please allow plenty of time to allow for delivery delays that may occur due to the COVID19 situation.

We maintain high levels of cleanliness throughout the practices and have implemented many measures above and beyond our normal standard.

Please respect the social distancing measures of 2 metres between other customers and staff when visiting the surgery.

If you feel unwell or have been in contact with anyone who has displayed Coronavirus symptoms, please do not come into the surgery and arrange for someone else to bring your pet in if necessary.

Thank you for your assistance and support.
