Coronavirus Information

Coronavirus Guidelines

At Monument Vets, we are still here and working to keep your pets healthy and safe. Animal welfare is our top priority and we want you to know we are here for you and your companions during this uncertain time.

We ask that you contact the surgery by phone for booking an appointment, but that prescription orders are done via our website. We will be booking consultation slots as normal but they will now be conducted over the phone rather than in person. Please send, in advance, any photos or videos that may help us. If clinically justified and safe we may then ask you to bring your pet to our Redruth surgery. If this were to happen you wouldn’t be charged again for a consultation.

24.03.2020 UPDATE

We kindly ask, in light of the Prime Minister’s latest announcement, that only urgent and emergency appointments are booked for your pets. Please call us first to clarify and we will do our best to assist over the phone and, if necessary, in person. We will be reviewing our stance regularly. Our latest guidelines and protocols are below – please read through before coming to the practice:

To keep yourselves and us as safe as possible, we request that all prescription orders are done via our website where possible to reduce the number of calls coming in. Please allow plenty of time to allow for delivery delays that may occur due to the COVID19 situation.

Payments will be taken over the phone to reduce physical contact.

We maintain high levels of cleanliness throughout the practices and have implemented many measures above and beyond our normal standard.

Please respect the social distancing measures of 2metres between other customers and staff when visiting the surgery.

If you feel unwell or have been in contact with anyone who has displayed Coronavirus symptoms, please do not come in to the surgery and arrange for someone else to bring your pet in if necessary

Thank you for your assistance and support.
